For the second funding period CAPAS wanted a more positive imagery and storytelling.
The Matsutake fungi was the first living being that grew in Hiroshima after the atom bomb destroyed everything.
Thanks to its ability to emerge from anthropogenic destruction it is considered a symbol for fertility, good fortune and resilience.
